Our Stairlifts

Our new chair lifts come with a two-year parts & labour warranty. Reconditioned stairlifts come with a six-month parts & labour warranty.

If you get a cheaper quote we will price match (like-for-like).

Rentals

Long & short term rental is available on all our stairlifts. Our team can advise if a rental, reconditioned or new lift is the best option for your circumstances. 

Hire-purchase is a popular option. Please ask about it when you get in touch if you think you would like to hire-purchase a stairlift. Our team are always happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Options

We offer customisable options such as colour & seat design. Automated features are available on most of our chair lifts. No need to change your decor. Change the colour options on your new lift instead.

Clean & Quick Installation 

Straight lifts take half a day to install. We keep these in stock. Due to demand, it is advisable to book your installation time early. If your stairs have no turns it is most likely suitable for a straight stairlift.

Extra Options

If your stairs have a doorway where the chair parks at the bottom of the stairs, you will need a hinged rail.

Please mention any obstacles when you get in touch. We can explain how the system works (and any associated costs with the upgrade).

Express

Able Plus offer express installation for straight lifts. When available you can you have your lift three hours call 01-8245763 to see if we have a slot available.

Secondhand

We sell Handicare and Acorn & Access stairlifts new and secondhand. These offer the most modern stairlifts available.

New stairlifts usually offer the best value. A well-maintained stairlift can last fifteen or twenty years. We recommend that you always buy a new stairlift if your budget allows it.

Curved lifts are custom built using a modular rail system to match your staircase. Lead time is usually 3-4 weeks. Please keep this in mind when planning your new lift purchase.

The cost of curved stairlifts is dependent on the length of the stairs and the number of turns. Curved lifts can park at the top of the stairs or on the top landing. On the bottom of the stairs, they can turn 180º onto the bottom landing.
